INVITATION.  McDonald Carano LLP and the Estate Planning Council of Northern Nevada are pleased to invite you to attend a viewing of the 1 hour NAEPC Webinar: The Perfect Modern Trust Including Income Tax Sheltering Opportunities at McDonald Carano's offices (100 W. Liberty St., Fl. 10) on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.  Lunch will be provided at 11:30 AM and the webinar will begin promptly at 12:00 PM.

WEBINAR DESCRIPTION.  Unfortunately, with shocking regularity, advisors who are too passive fail to advise clients during the estate planning process about the unnecessary substantial harm that will occur by not using a properly designed and monitored trust. Risking the appearance of blasphemy, this intermediate/advanced presentation will analyze the concept of using the same trust design, with minimal, but meaningful alterations, that is best for all clients, including powerful income tax planning opportunities with reverse, lateral and down-stream planning.

SPEAKER.  Richard A. Oshins concentrates on tax and estate planning with a substantial emphasis on multi-generational wealth planning particularly with regard to closely-held entities. He was inducted into the NAEPC – “Estate Planning Hall of Fame” in 2007; selected by Worth magazine as one of the top 100 Attorneys in the U.S.; and has been named one of the 24 “Elite Estate Planning Attorneys” by Trust Advisor. Prior to entering private practice, Dick served as a law clerk at the United States Court of Claims in Washington D.C. and as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel, U.S. Treasury Department, in Washington D.C.
