He will discuss how Californians are leaving, briefly describe personal residency rules and then spend most of the time explaining how trusts and NV trustees are used to preserve wealth.

As an attorney Mr. Hegji’s experience is with representing wealthy families ranging from $1M to $400M.

Mr. Hegji previously served as the primary tax planning counsel for a boutique Southern California firm, one of the oldest estate planning firms in Nevada, one of the largest regional firms in Nevada, and several major trust companies. He sits on the board of the Coalition for American Retirement, a non-profit group advancing legislation to protect retirement accounts. Mr. Hegji earned his law degree from University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
