Bart Mowry’s practice focuses on all aspects of estate, income, gift and generation skipping transfer tax planning for high net worth families and individuals and succession planning for business owners. Mr. Mowry has significant transactional experience including proper choice of entity, entity formation, acquisition, financing, operation, reorganization and disposition of family-owned businesses and real estate holdings. Mr. Mowry has had extensive experience in assisting wealthy families creating and operating Family Trust Companies and was actively involved in legislation creating such entities under Nevada law, Chapter 669A of the Nevada Revised Statues. Mr. Mowry’s professional accomplishments include being listed in the Best Lawyers in America for the past 20 years in the categories of taxation, trust and estates, and charitable organizations. He has also been named as a Super Lawyer in Nevada and the Mountain States. Mr. Mowry was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, serving as Nevada Chair since 2010. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Tax Counsel. Mr. Mowry is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant, having joined the firm over 30 years ago and following employment as a CPA with both Deloitte-Touche in Las Vegas, Nevada, and PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Sacramento, California.
